"Lovely staff, beautiful surroundies good place to access hikes or lovly small towns. Roads are narrow getting there but it is a gorgeous location. Excellent breakfast and pub food. We really enjoyed our stay."

"We had a deluxe room with a patio. The room was large, but very dated and with stains and scuffs throughout. The patio was private (we weren't aware of that) so our bedroom opens up directly onto a shared patio which meant we couldnt have our curtains open to admire the view. The coffee machine was missing from our room as well. The spa was nice, but very small. It was overcrowded when we went with people queuing inside the spa for beds / steam room, and also queuing to access the spa. We had...

"Parking was excellent. However when we got into our superior double room, the dual aspect views were fantastic but some of the issues we found were a bit upsetting as we spent £175 for 1 night. There was mould on 1 of the walls by the wardrobe, there was wood chipped off bedside table by side window and 1 of the lamps by the tv didnt even have a light bulb in it."

"We had the most wonderful stay at Ambleside Townhouse. We stayed for 5 nights in the family room as it was the last room they had when booking. We were glad as it was a beautiful spacious room with two beds. We only used one which was a superking and very comfortable. The staff were lovely and even though we didn’t really need much they were always there to answer anything with a friendly reply. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious.
