Petit hôtel très sympa à quelques mètres de la plage, commerces, bars et restaurant! Notre arrivée était très tardive mais la propriétaire a fait tout le nécessaire pour que nous pouvons entré sans soucis! Par contre ce un peu difficile de trouver la situation géographique malgré toutes les annonces, si non tout était nickel.

Special place to stay in Phuket with amazing breakfast in a quiet yet not empty street. We enjoyed the location and the food a lot, but the toilet could use a little curtain instead of clear glass only. The people that are in charge of the place is amazing.

Building site minimalism

The hotel tries to pretend it is a minimalist type design. In reality, it's more like an unfinished building site. The walls, floor and ceiling are unfinished cement. The sink and shower are made of unfinished blocks of cement. It is clean, but for the price, you can get something 10 times better.

Ella is a very nice hotel, I would definitely stay here again. I checked in super late, around midnight time, but staff left me a note on the front door for contact. The place is clean and a minimalism design. But beware of the stairs, they are steep and carrying your luggage up and down could be dangerous. I recommend this affordable hotel for everyone who's going to Patong.

Good budget boutique hotel with modern touches

Small boutique hotel located above a bar/restaurant. The rooms have a modern industrial design and look fairly new and clean. The staff is very friendly and the location is a block away from the beach, down an alley with limited traffic, so it's not too loud considering you're in the middle of the action of Patong Beach. One downside; the bed was very hard, but from what I understand this is common in Asia unless you stay at a Western hotel chain. Overall, good value for the money. I'd stay here again if on a budget.

Sehr guter Service, super freundliche Angestellte. Spezielles Minimal-Design, gute Klimaanlage im Zimmer, sehr bequemes mittelhartes Bett, einwandfrei funktionierendes Badezimmer (super-Dusche), prima WLAN (Netflixen geht gut). Top-Frühstück und Kaffee. Ideale Lage gleich neben der Bangla-Street und dem Strand, Wäscherei gegenüber, Top-Massage und Kosmetrik-Salon nebenan, Roller-Verleih, 7eleven und Apotheke in der Strasse keine 50m entfernt, Vorsicht: kein Aufzug, WC im Zimmer ohne Tür..., recht lärmig (vorne heraus zur Strasse geht es gerade noch, aber hinten unten hat es eine mega laute Hallenlüftung nebenan).

Great, simple affordable hotel

Ella is a good place to stay. The staff is hospitable, helpful and very friendly. It is an industrial style building and has minimal amenities. Bed is firm and hard. For the price point it is suffice and good, location is incredible. Don’t expect any bells or whistles. Smaller rooms do not have anywhere to place your things, we upgraded to have some room for this and also to get a chair. The street where the hotel is has many local shops and awesome options for massage. The best thing about Ella was the FOOD. The breakfast was amazing and we also ate lunch and dinner there as well. Delicious!!! There are steep stairs to walk up to get into the units. No elevator.

Excellent location, clean and modern hotel

The location is excellent if you want to stay in Patong - 3 min to the beach, 7 min to bangla road, but in an alley with tons of cheap eats and massage places. Hotel itself is very clean, rooms are modern, good amenities, but there is no door to the bathroom, and the toilet is like 5 feet from the bed. We had a room with a great balcony. The included breakfast was excellent - and the bar downstairs is a great place to hang out. Staff was very nice but don't have usual hotel services (ie calling you a taxi or providing your info). Would definitely stay again!

Simple and efficient

Nice superbly located small hotel in the heart of Patong. The beach is 3 min away and Bangla Street about 7 min. The bistro has good quality food and the coffee is great! Staff is super nice. Avoid room 2, which is above the kitchen when you don’t want some morning breakfast smells. The bathroom though is huge and makes up for that.

Boutique Hotel close to beach and restaurants

I love this hotel. Have stayed several times. Fantastic location in a quiet ski, 2 mins from beach and many restaurants and shops nearby. All the staff are fantastic. Super friendly. Hotel is clean and safe and very good food available in downstairs bar/cafe area. Would recommend.

An uncommon hotel near Patong Beach, a walking distance to almost everything you can do in this city. The architecture and minimalist style doesn't mean you will not be comfy, on the contrary. The food is also amazing ! We will certainly go back !

Great clean modern hotel but different!

This is my favourite hotel in Patong. It is modern and a little different to most Thai hotels. The staff are excellent and super friendly. Fantastic menu with all differing cuisines and located in a quiet street near to the beach and many restaurants shops etc and 5 mins walk to Bangla Road.

No elevator to 4th floor. If you like to work out

OK, girlfriend was extremely hot I had booked this hotel for 10 days. Just wanted to give it a shot. To start with we were put on the 4th floor. No elevators folks. Looks like this hotel was built from the ground up of a building that was gutted and lot rebuilt for this hotel. The room however was ok, shower ok, but no door for toilet, so no privacy in other words! Hotel staff however were nice, in a quiet area down a soi and near beach.

Value for money

Ella Bar, Bistro, and Bed is a basic hotel but comes with only the basic amenities which is needed. Spacious room but no space for additional storage space. The hotel does not have elevator. Therefore, it would be suitable for couple without much luggage. You have yo carry your luggage up to the room by stairs. It is well located near the Patong Beach where the beach, massage, eateries are all within walking distance.

Very cool, modern and awesome bistro/bar. Loved it

Loved this place. The room (I had a deluxe with the large bathroom) was stunning. You can see from the photos, it has a very modern design. Plenty of room, beautiful bathroom, huge balcony. This place is more like a private apartment, rather than a hotel room. Don't expect room service or anything like that. Yes, they clean your room every day. But they don't have the normal services a "hotel" would have. This was fine by me, as I don't want that anyway, so it was perfect. Saying that, they don't mind you take your bistro order up to your room anyway. The staff are very nice and accommodating. The access to the rooms, a coded door heading upstairs. No reception. Just come and go as you please. Like I said, more like a private apartment than a hotel. When I arrived (about 9pm) the street was packed full of people. I thought oh no, it going to be loud. Not at all. By 10pm, the street was empty and very quite. Not much traffic, even during the day. Considering the location (which is basically smack bang in the heart of Patong), it was a very quite area. Yet so close to everything. Great location. The bar/bistro... awesome food. Western/mexican/italian. Try a few different tacos. Amazing!!! Probably the best tacos I have ever had in my life. Pancakes... oh my god... yum. 10/10 I would highly recommend Ella Bar - Bistro - Bed to anyone who doesn't want the traditional "hotel". I plan on staying here again next time. Loved it. Ask for street facing room. Rear room - no balcony

Super cute industrial theme rooms

In the craziness of patong this hotel is an oasis. It's located down a quieter side street, yet still just one block from the beach. The industrial theme: concrete walls/floors, purposely exposed conduit, etc. I thought it was really well done. Also, concrete walls make for a very quiet room. The balcony is small but adequate, not much of a view. While waiting for my room to be ready I had lunch in the bistro....super yum!! The tacos are Amazing! Try the massaman pork taco.

침구가 청결하지 않은 호텔입니다

가장 큰 문제점은 침대와 베게에서 걸레썩은 냄새가 납니다 베게가 너무 심해서 베게 속통을 봤더니 누렇고 얼룩이 장난아니었습니다 하수구 냄새도 심하게 올라옵니다 화장실 문 없으니 커플끼리 오실때 참고하세요 배변활동 하려면 한명 나가야함 조식은 깔끔하고 좋습니다 그외엔 추천하고 싶지 않네요 수건도 다 헤져서 구멍나있고 머 그렇습니다 장점은 주변에 바다와 가까워 산책하기 좋고 바로 옆 마사지 샵이 정실론 근처보다 쌉니다 반값정도? 요약 1. 침구가 냄새난다 (걸레썩은내) 2. 비치와 가깝다 3. 화장실문 없음 4. 조식하나 깔끔함 후각둔하시거나 냄새에 안민감하신분은 추천합니다
