Occidental Phoenix hotels

"The check-in and check-out process was very easy. I requested early check- in and they texted me when the room was available. The room was spacious with a kitchenette and tv room area separate from the bedroom. The bed could have been more comfortable and they definitely need to update their pillows. The rooms were very clean. You have to request room service if needed for cleaning but the front desk has everything you need. The pool was in the center of all the rooms and was nice. The area around the hotel was walkable. There was a nice family diner across the street that’s open for breakfast and lunch. A grocery store was right down the road as well for cooking in your room. Staff was always friendly. "

"Breakfast was plenty w fresh food, nice variety of coffee, the hot tub was hot, and the pool was nice too. At times the outside was not together w the garbage having empty pizza boxes and sometimes wet towels. It was a very busy time with visitors. The staff was very polite and helpful. we enjoyed our stay "

"The property is 35-40 years outdated. The carpet was scary, I told the kids to leave their shoes on. The door opens to an outside courtyard that can be accessed by anyone, no keycard needed. Not as big of an issue if the room door closed and would latch. The strike plate was hanging off and the door wouldn’t close without a hefty push. And even then it could be pushed open from the outside. Seemed to be a common issue as I noticed multiple doors ajar. When I mentioned this to management they said they would send someone by…no one came. So if security is important to you DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. "

"This resort was perfect. The pools were abundant and at the perfect temperature. The rooms are spacious and clean. The food and drink delivered to the pool area were tasty. I would highly recommend."

"Pool area was really only cleaned up once a day. Old towles piled up and any beverages that were deliverd/ left, sat around all day. The towles were not replaced during the day."
