"We stayed 3 nights in a bleak February. The weather was bad, but the room was warm and cosy. The dining hall was shut, but a continental breakfast was laid out on the landing and a small table and chairs provided in the room. Cooked breakfast was available for a small extra fee, but we didn't feel we needed one. We were in the Cream Room and we were pleased that the "private bathroom" was en suite.which we weren't sure of from the description. This is a working farm. The field opposite during our stay was home to a flock of sheep. We also heard owls during the night, which we haven't heard for some time. All in all, a good value and pleasant stay."

"Great stay ideal location, room was spotless everything you needed was at hand, one downside bed was too soft but that’s due to personal preference and because of that they took the parking off the bill."

"Lovely welcome, really lovely room although very hot, but was able to get a fan from reception. The hotel is spotless, fresh towels and bedding and updated each day. Quiet location, perfect for exploring the town. The food in the restaurant was also really good and you get well looked after and also 15% off as a gesture from the hotel great selection at breakfast and again well looked after.......would defiantly book again"
