"Stayed here for two nights while visiting Bath. Loved the room (named "Jake") with its compact space and the layout between the room and the bathroom. You just can't get places that have character like this in the States. Ate dinner both nights in the restaurant which was very good. On both nights (weeknights) the restaurant was full. "Fabulous location overlooking the valley. Staff food and rooms are all great. A minor downside is lighting over the handbag in the bathroom where good light is needed for contact lens wearers; however this is common to almost all hotels nowadays"

"Only stayed for one night so didn't have a chance to properly experience the hotel. The grounds are beautiful and the pool looked amazing - sadly I didn't get a chance to go in! Breakfast was good too "
