"The breakfast is wonderful. It's just a little disappointing the fact that they add water to the yogurt. That makes the yogurt drink taste less plesant. Maybe it would be better to use milk to delute it without changing its taste so much. Besides that, everything was great. Nice people working there. The house keepers made a great job, much more than we expected."

"Fantastic staff, without them this place wouldn’t be that great but they really are excellent. Great location, a few minutes walk from Ipanema beach and Copacabana. Great breakfast, a lot of choice including healthy granola, fruit and yoghurt. The room was ok, big and a reasonably comfy bed, the floor was a bit dirty. Everything is white including bright white lights which make it look like an institution and white shows all the scuff marks. Many of the light switches didn’t work or we couldn’t figure them out. The towels were threadbare and looked grey from being washed so many times and our cotton bedding looked old and was very frayed. If you can put up with that then this place is a pretty good deal for the price especially for the good location."

"The rooftop pool and restaurant are fabulous and really make the stay at this place! Sound insulation was poor in our room--even on the top floor, we had difficulty sleeping because of street-level noise, but after the first couple days we got used to it. The front desk staff were a little slow but very accommodating, letting us use the conference room for our son's nap when they were too busy to give us a late check-out. The hotel can book sightseeing for you that's much cheaper than what we saw online and we had a lot of fun on the pirate boat day trip that we booked through them."
