"Clean room, friendly staff, Bath tub was clogged up and water pressure of bathroom shower was far too strong (both cons are room specific, but still needs to be noted). Breakfast was great, but on the second day could not find a seat because staff did not clear tables quick enough. Overall decent stay."

"This is my go-to hotel when I'm in San Rafael. They are renovating the rooms and the common areas and bringing back the bar, which will be so cool. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, bathrooms are clean, wifi is strong, staff is great. There's a lovely bakery next door that I recommend as well."

"The rooms are very dirty. Had to change different rooms. I had to buy cleaning supplies as I stayed a few weeks because my house had a flood. There’s bugs. The smoke detectors go off, I was even accused of tampering with the detector, which I did not. The outlets are outdated and would not pass inspection. If they are worried about fires they might want to update their electrical wiring. Behind the headboard they have multi attachments for a multitude of plugs. If they are worried about fires they should start with adding some plugs from this era. Theres one three prong plug in the bathroom and one by the sink. The two ac units have the wire own plug but every other plug is two prong or there’s just many walls with no switches. The first day we got here we had to switch rooms it was so dirty. I ended up purchasing a TV that was larger due to the fact the bed room TV was too small and the image was blurry and I couldn’t use sub titles. The hotel is NOT sound proofed. Furthermore the staff and guests are very nosy and like to peek inside the windows. The windows are all on the floor so anyone can see right into your room. Unless you totally close your shutters. When you do that you get zero air flow."

"Very pleased with our stay here. Rooms are immaculate, quiet and smell amazing. Breakfast is in the restaurant and has eggs, bagels, muffins, fruit and other things ready to serve plus you can order a thick waffle from the kitchen. Dining area and nightclub are very reminiscent of 1950's and Italian themed. Location isn't far from some shopping and very close to Hwy 101. "
