"The house is a good place to stay if you need ample room and want a quiet retreat in Saranac Lake. Its not on the water but within a short drive of downtown and the lakes. If you have mobility issues this isn’t the place for you as the stairs to the second floor are very steep and there are floor level changes. The house manager should, I think, mark the floor level changes with bright tape because it takes a while to remember where they are. The house is pleasant and cosy and we enjoyed staying...

"It was a one night stay. No staff was seen, and we didn’t go back into the “lobby” the next morning - so we can’t comment on the “breakfast”. It’s not a top of the line place, and the bed I chose WREAKED of some nasty fragrance! It’s a weird little set up but accessible is what I needed so it worked for the night."

"This was the nicest Hampton Inn I’ve stayed at, we enjoyed the area and the hotel itself. The hot tub was great after a long day of hiking. The breakfast was decent and the view from the dining room was beautiful. We booked a king room with a lakefront balcony, the sunrise in the morning was so pretty. The bar had a few local beers to choose from which is nice, Overall a great place to stay to explore the surrounding area"

"We visited during the off-season so we expected that some of the amenities may be closed and areas under repair and updates. As such the room was spacious and comfortable, while the parking area was under construction there was ample parking which was a short walk from the front entrance.
