Was there 1/11-1/13. Parking lot was a skating rink, packed jagged ice, felt very unsafe. A big reason I stayed at this facility was their hot tub/pool, but the hot tub was hit or miss. Temp was 85 the first night I was there, which is lukewarm at best. It was 98 the 2nd night, which was good, but then back down to 89 next morning. Rooms were clean but the lighting is ugly yellow lamps. Heavy curtains black out light but there is no screen curtain that lets in light but doesn't allow people to see in. I've stayed at this facility many times over the years for the pool and location, but this will be my last time.

There was a nice, clean room that was roomy for the three of us. The only item that seemed to be lacking was no breakfast was available, but there was a coffee maker in the room. The girls at the main desk were nice and friendly.

Solid budget option ultra convenient in Lake Placid. No frills and she’s showing some age on the exterior, but don’t let that scare you away. Perfectly clean and very comfortable rooms great for an overnight.
