"I usually don't write reviews, but I'm doing this one to highlight really excellent service. Staff behind the counter, as well as at the breakfast bar was *exceptional*. The breakfast bar was*spotless*, and the gentleman there worked non-stop to help the guests. The staff throughout this facility was kind and super courteous. Nice to see these days!!!"

"Clean room, helpful staff. We only slept there one night. Was there maybe 8 hours. The vents were comfortable. The towels need to be updated and we're not as white as I'd like them to be. A bit gray/worn. Other than that it fit our needs."

"God where do I start. I'll start with the bad then go to good. 1. Office smelled like an Indian buffet 2. No heat. Told the manager. He came in the room, put the AC on to 71 thinking I am dumb. "We were at the Holiday Inn Express in Poughkeepsie probably for the last time attending our daughter's graduation. The location was terrific to come and go to Vassar and the restaurants and stores along route 9. Plenty of parking. The rooms were comfortable and ready. The breakfast is done as well as the type of hotel can do - there was even some variety between the mornings."

"My daughter and I stayed here for the mother-daughter Gilmore Girls trip and I can't say enough good things. From the first moment of walking in the door, the view of the Housatonic River was breathtaking. The beds are gorgeous and so comfortable. The room is very spacious and relaxing.
