"Thought the room had a couch bed and it did not so they tried to sell us a trundle bed for $20 a night. Also booked through Expedia. Do not recommend. We were charged for the room twice"

"If the temperature is too warm they close the indoor pool (mid 80s). The outdoor pool by our building was pretty small which wasnt a big deal when only a few families were there. It filled up quick as well as the larger outdoor pool we had to drive to. We also thought laundry was in the unit (it is just on the property. I knew going in we may have to decline the timeshare sales people but you go from the check in people to the timeshare "watch our presentation" people to get your keys coded....

"It was comfortable and had a very nice breakfast buffet. The only problem we had was at the pool in the evening. There was a large group of you kids unattended. They were jumping, wrestling and yelling and Screaming,plus throwing their pool toys everywhere. They took over half the pool."

"This seems to be an older property but is still in good shape. No issues with cleanliness and no bugs of any kind seen (and I’m that traveler that always checks the mattresses first thing). Yes the carpet may be faded and stained in spots, but that is likely an indication of heavy use over time by multiple guests. The cobbler and ice cream at night were a nice surprise! Breakfast was good with a variety of foods both hot and cold. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate were available all the time. ...

"It was perfect for what we needed. A reasonably priced no frills family friendly establishment close to everything."

"There was a softball tournament while we were there and the kids and parents were so rude, blocking walkways, running outside the rooms knocking on doors. Management did nothing. It rained and water came in our room under the door, carpet was filthy."

"This hotel was fantastic from top to bottom, back to front. The staff were extremely friendly and the rooms were very clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable too. The free breakfast was wonderful! We also enjoyed the close proximity to our activities we had planned on our trip. This was our first stay at the Lodge but I can definitely say it won’t be our last!"

"I was expecting the pool/spa area to be better. The spa is permanently closed. Looks like a major Crack in it. The pool area is dirty and not maintained as it should be. Overall, the hotel needs to be updated with new fixtures. The shower fixtures were coming out of the wall I thought that they were going to break. The cleanliness of the hotel was great. All the room were clean and the linens were very good. Beds were very comfortable along with the pillows. Great stay just needs to be updated...
