"Clean room 21 thank you. Taps could be improved. Flush mechanism in toilet poor. Requires new fill valve to allow correct amount of water in to give a reliable flush. Not good for 2 days stay!"

"Staff were all really friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, free room upgrade to a junior suite with a hot tub absolutely made our day. Spa is included and you can go in it at any time without having to book or pay extra and it’s open late at night. 11am check out which is great as a lot of places do 10am which we find really early. Really good food in the pub. Really relaxing stay. This is our second time here and we will return. "

"Had a superb stay here, would definitely stay again. Cooked breakfast and cereal/fruit platter was fantastic. Lovely host who is very welcoming and helpful. Its a good location in Kendal, away from the busy pubs but is only a short walk to the shopping high street."

"The hotel is a very short distance from the M6, which makes it an ideal stop over. The accommodation was really comfortable with lovely restaurant and bar facilities. We were made most welcome by all members of staff. Food was well prepared and nicely presented. Will definitely pass details of this place to family and friends."
