The rooms were clean, staff was professional and the restaurant downstairs ve
The room was clean, the bed was super comfortable and the bathroom shower was just perfect! What more would you need?! Thank you Mama Shelter for being the cozy shelter for my one week stay! The staff was very friendly and accommodating too!
Great stay!! They have the amenities you need! Near the groceries! Love how they provided umbrellas!! The restaurant has delicious food!! Staff are very generous even though I couldn’t speak French they were so accommodating
Amazing hotel with great decor and bar/restaurant in a local neighbourhood. Staff were super friendly and professional. We loved the atmosphere of the place.
It's always a pleasure for me to stay in this "Paris Oasis".
The staff is really great, perfect balance between friendly & pro. They even remember their loyal guests!
Rooms are funky and very comfortable.
A modern and cool hotel near to good bars and cafes. A trendy bar with dancing if you want that. They even have a roof terrace.
Tiny with air con not being great but overall would recommend and return.
Breakfast was amazing. We had one noisy night from a private club across the street due to being in room 101. Our friends on floor 4 said they heard nothing!
Not only an hotel brand: an experience and an ecosystem of good mood!
Great room (with super selection of movies) ; super friendly staff (like Mymy at reception, Clément at rooftop, and the restaurant team) ; delicious restaurant in ground floor ; nice location ; nice derived products; cool rooftop bar...
My second stay there and not the last!! 😀
We've stayed here multiple times over the years and always enjoyed our stay. As long as you realise that it is a basic but very funky hotel you won't go wrong! The staff are always welcoming, the bar and restaurant are excellent. If you're there on a Sunday you really must book for brunch! The rooms are basic but always clean. Over the years the area around the hotel has grown busier and there are now few interesting restaurants and bars. It's not the most beautiful part of Paris but it's full of character and a walk around Pere Lachaise is a must.

The hotel has its own restaurant on the ground floor and the guests can enjoy a very good breakfast. The staff is highly friendly and helpful. The room is stylish, but hardly functional. I was particularly embarrassed by the absence of power point near the desk.
Hotel had a funky / trendy vibe. That’s all good and fun but the rooms were too small (for the price) but more frustrating is they were quite dark. I know it’s the style but didn’t work for me. Also, restaurant was delicious but 2hour wait for food is unacceptable

The carpet of my room was wet and the room was smelling like Urin. Not sure what the guest before did in this room.
Apart from this the mama shelter remains to be my preferred hotel in Paris.
Nice people and always happy to help.
Mama Shelter Paris East was absolutely fine. The room was quite noisy, sat on the main road and over the main door to the hotel. The air con in the room was very loud all night and making the ceiling panels vibrate so we needed to use ear plugs to sleep. The double room was two single beds on the bed frame so they kept slipping off the frame. Absolutely fine for a short city break, but not somewhere you’d want to spend loads of time. Thankfully Alexandre Dumas tube stop is very close by with easy connections into the city.
Great experience as a solo traveler. Friendly staff and they spoke English which was amazing. Beautiful rooftop and restaurant. Overpriced breakfast but it was ok. Free entertainment on a Thur night. I would go again. Near bus transportation bars and cafes.
Really enjoyed the location. 5 minutes from the metro. Quiet neighborhood with a few grocery stores and some nice eats, even late into the evening. The room is small for more than 2 and I wasn’t fond of the electrical cords being strung out on the wall. But would definitely recommend to 1-2 occupants as long as they’re ok snuggling up at night. Will visit again if I’m not with the fam!
