Pros are it is an easy walk from the Eurostar train station and near bars and restaurants. Cons are it’s tired and dated, and carrying our luggage up 6 flights of stairs at age 65 was not fun.

This is a basic hotel in a very convenient location for the Gare du Nord or Gare de l'Est. The room was small but adequate with a good shower. On the minus side breakfast was 15 minutes later than advertised - an issue if you have a train to catch - and tge streets immediately around the hotel are not very welcoming, although they improve as you walk south towards Ile de la cité.

I chose Hotel Jarry because it is close to Gare du Nord as I was leaving for London on the EuroStar quite early in the morning. A plus was that it was within walking distance to the Louvre and therefore other tourist sights.

Perfect tourist hotel in a great area.

A very nice tourist hotel, close to great restaurants and transportation. The hotel is older, but very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Nice location in the centre of the capital. The hotel is old and does not have an elevator. On the other hand the price is quite interesting while hotels in Paris in general are very expensive.

Für eine Nacht zum Transfer vom Bahnhof Paris Est ist das Hotel ok. Wir haben unser Gepäck im Speisesaal gelagert, um es nicht die enge Wendeltreppe in das 5. OG tragen zu müssen. Die Betten sind etwas durchgelegen, aber sonst für eine Übernachtung und den Preis in Ordnung. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt in Paris würde ich es nicht empfehlen, auch aufgrund der Umgebung.
