Hotel was larger than expected, located 2mins walk away from Strasbourg Saint Denis metro, super convenient to get to anywhere in Paris. There’s cafes around the hotel and the hotel amenities were quite reasonable. Good stay!

Staff were very helpful and friendly. The area around was sometimes noisy at night with several outdoor cafes and bars and occasionally many police dealing with some situations, seemingly criminal.

Room in very good new condition with bedroom window we could open. not sure property is 4 stars, but room rate was reasonalbe, hence ok. 12 mins walk to the lovely Rue Montorgueil and 25 min to Galeries Lafayette. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.

All in all for the price and the location, its fine. Lobby and hallways a little tired, but clean. We were located next to the lift which was a little loud but not unmanageable.

The room was small but clean and comfortable. They were doing some renovations across the street that made it very noisy in the room, not the hotels fault just bad timing on our stay. The street is busy with restaurants and bars until late into the evening. The staff was helpful and accommodating. The Metro is close so there is good access to all the sites to see in Paris.

Good location: 15-20 minute walk from Paris North and Paris east train stations, close to metro stops and streets with excellent restaurants. Hotel was decent - we were on the top floor and ceilings were low - about 2m high. Hot water was ok but often turned cold and there was not shampoo or conditioner provided in the bathrooms. Beds were comfortable, windows opened to let in fresh air and coffee machine and kettle helpful. Would stay here again.

Entering the property, it seemed like it would be like any other Paris hotel — a little bit small, and dated, but still have some redeeming qualities —however, it is far below average. Here is everything that stood out: 1) Everything beyond the lobby is musty and dusty to the point that my girlfriend and my lungs hurt. 2) Hairs and stains on bed with the headboard also stained with white splotches 3) Bits of wall and paint seemed to be piling on floor of room

Do not stay here. Run down and in very poor condition. We have up three nights to get out as fast as possible. No refund granted because we prepaid - lesson learnt! Mould in shower and damp smell in room. Beds disgusting.

Would not recommend

This hotel has had a relatively recent refurb . The shower did not feel very clean . The shampoo was not changed once and was empty from the first day . The front desk team had a severe attitude and has no telephone manner . The bathrooms are internal and made the room smell like mould . Many drug users outside the post office building at the end of the road at night and makes you feel incredibly unsafe . I would not recommend this hotel at all .

We stayed for one day each end of our trip. Our first room had a wonderful balcony but the room itself smelt a bit musty. Our second room was downstairs so just had a window and there was scaffolding outside the for ongoing building works, so not so nice. The shower in this room did not have a holder up high so you had to hold it in one hand whilst showering which was a pain. Overall, we felt the hotel was pretty good for the price, but if the smell in the first room and the shower in the second were fixed we would have given 5 stars. The area around the property is okay, but equally not the nicest part of Paris. That said it's very easy to get anywhere you want to go on the Metro.

Un hôtel fort bien situé, avec un personnel très accueillant et à l'écoute. La salle de bain de notre chambre aurait mérité un petit coup de lifting, notamment la tête de la douche qui présentait des traces de moisissures. Par ailleurs, nous avons été réveillés à 5h du matin par le camion qui venait livrer l'hôtel, nous nous serions bien passé de la discussion entre le livreur et son collègue ainsi que des portières qui claquent.
