Great breakfast for a reasonable price, ate at the restaurant next door at night. Very walkable part of town. The Arena behind the hotel is worth visiting.

Hotel Des Arenes has two main attractions: 1) excellent staff, who are friendly, polite, and helpful; and 2) very convenient location, near two metro stations, several eating options, and some tourist attractions.

This is a pleasant hotel in a great area of the Latin Quarter. Rooms are plain, but clean and comfortable. The front desk staff and housekeeping were exemplary: I fell ill during my stay and they were helpful and supportive.
