"The place is wonderful. What I did not like much is that some of the facilities were not available (hidro massage, gas bbq). The road to get there is also narrow and full of curves, but totally worth it. The family do not speak much in English, but we always could mostly understand each other. The apartment that I got was old fashioned and better than I could expect and with almost everything you might (no salt or oil to cook, but everything else). "I booked a single room at the Italia. It's in an unprepossing area of Reggio Emilia, and nobody was around when I turned up. I called and ten minutes later somebody let me in. His Italian was very poor, but he tried to communicate that I could have a different room for a couple of hours because somebody was sleeping in my single room. Then I could change. "Superb comfortable large room, great staff, evening meal was fantastic which was supported with brilliant & friendly waiting staff, just perfection, however, breakfast just didn’t quite match the evening meal experience, nether less, I’d still recommend this hotel, location was spot on, the soundproofing was way beyond any other hotel to which I’ve never experienced before in my traveling, all in all, brilliant & thank you."
