My wife and I had the best time on our vacation, the service was out of this world, the restaurant food was fantastic, so much to chose from , our stay was for one week and we ate like a King, never had a bad meal and our last night there we had fresh lobster for $17.00 and was a good size to, the hotel staff was the best, I will be returning there again next January.

Stayed here for 2 nights -what sells this place is the amazing, professional and friendly service from ALL the staff like Juan, Carlos, Al and Dempto and the ladies at the front desk. They are the glue in keeping this place well maintained and secured. Booked an apartment style room. It was well appointed, had 2 bedrooms, living room, dining room and kitchen (but you really could not cook any meals on it). It had large double beds -not too soft or too hard. Place was spacious for 4 adults. The large patio was a good place to relax in the lounge chairs and dry your wet clothes. A beautiful property with an onsite restaurant, outside bar and large pool w/ an ocean view. Yes - the beach is not good for swimming -which is why they have a pool. Property is pretty at night with all the lights on. The big disappointment and turn off was our bathroom -it had a rusty shower and faucet. Had to use slippers when we took a shower as it did not feel clean. Beautiful property but why could not they invest money to change their rusty shower and faucet?

I like that its in the Beach front but secluded,if you like peace and away from touristy area,this is the resort for you.Going to the resort,narrow alley.

The staff was amazing I really enjoyed our stay. Be aware that you cannot swim off the beach during low tide hours but you are only 150-200 peso trike ride from Alona beach. Restaurant was really good and good price.

The resort ok but the bathroom needs upgrades,the drainage need to clean in the shower . Outside the resort is dirty should clean the outside area before the main entrance .it’s not a good look for the visitors. The vendors on the beach area is very annoying .Too early in the morning they are there already to bug you can’t even do your walk .

For being a three star hotel, its good. The apartment style room was large but needed updating. The beds and pillows were hard and uncomfortable. We couldn’t contact the front desk by phone so we had to physically go down to request things. Their beach front is very small and its not a place where you can go in the water and swim. Their restaurant was awesome! Ordered Filipino food everytime and it was all delicious.

Linaw a very relaxing hotel
Linaw beach resort is the perfect place to relax. It is secluded away from the crowded Alona but close enough to take a 15 trike ride to visit. The room is spacious, the restaurant is outstanding, the service is great. Lay out by the beach, take a dip in the pool..... food and drinks at your pleasure!!

Peaceful Beach Stay
We checked in early and even upgraded to an apartment style 2 bedroom. The service is phenomenal. The bar, pool, beach tables, hammocks, beach chairs are all yours. It is a quiet and relaxing environment with wifi everywhere for work or hotel reviews. The beef tapas breakfast is fantastic.

What a beautiful place on the beach. Staff was awesome and the gay was great. The shower didn’t have adequate hot water, kind of cold still on max setting, and the road into this place isn’t paved. Couple updates and this place will be even more amazing. Thanks

Friendliness and service can't be beat
Fantastic resort style location. It has a beach, but it isn't really that kind of beach as the water is extremely shallow and there is a lot of washed up seaweed. This place shines in the service. Everyone is friendly and they made it just as easy to walk to the onsite restaurant or bar as it would to have everything delivered to our outdoor patio. Food and drink options were extremely varied and everything was exceptional. I can't imagine staying anywhere else if I were ever to return to the area.

They made us pay extra for our 2kids below 7yo without providing extra beds. Not worth your money. There are better accomodations at Bohol. Photos used are way way dfrnt from actual hotel.

Hi Ma'am, Good evening! Thank you for your review. As per checking, your booking is good for 2 persons only so we're expecting 2 persons only. Since you are 4 pax in total of course we have to charge the extra persons. Extra person shall be charge accordingly. If you informed Expedia upon making the reservation that you are 4 persons in total , of course Expedia will charge you php 1000/ per kid with extra bed and breakfast since there is no option there for 500.

I'd stay again for sure
What a lovely stay. I'm glad I booked Linaw. The rooms are really lovely and big, the staff are very kind and helpful and the place is very well kept. You'll always look out and see someone sweeping or cleaning or doing a bit of gardening. Very well staffed in the restaurant. Linaw is the kind of place you'll want to go back to

Best choice in Panglao
I got a great rate off season. Absolutley my favorite location in the island where the perfect combination of being close to the action but not too close . Has one of the best restaurants on the island at the location private beach excellent staff . Rooms are top quality well-appointed . Infinity pool beach-front .

Beautifully decorated and excellent staff
Fantastic little hotel and great staff! Wi-Fi patchy in places and very little in the area so you need to get a tricycle into town but these are minor issues. Unusual style of decoration (similar to an American style house!) for the area but really comfortable, good sized rooms, lovely pool and excellent staff. Service was super attentive! Food at the restaurant (pearl) was for the most part delicious and a huge menu to choose from! This would definitely be my hotel of choice if I returned to the area!

Nice place, great staff.
Everything was great but the beach. Very very dirty...but only a short boat ride away there is some amazing snorkeling//diving.(balicasag) we saw more than 7 turtles in less than an hour.

A Great, Restful Place To Recharge
My wife and I just spent 5 days at the Linaw. We had a great time overall and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway without all the touristy attractions. It's quite far from any busy area, and the beach isn't much except to look out at the sea. I imagine the sunset is great, but the weather was overcast during our stay. The highlights of our trip were exactly why we chose Linaw in the first place. It is quiet, the grounds are very pretty and well-kept, the service is excellent, and the Pearl restaurant serves absolutely awesome food. The drinks are very good, too, and everything at a very reasonable price. We also enjoyed the swimming pool every day, and the atmosphere around the pool and restaurant are so relaxing. The staff are so friendly and go out of their way to accomodate any need, and I give this hotel my top pick in Panglao because of them. Not once were we ever told “no” to something we requested. This is a really great resort and I hope to return again. Do yourself a favor and recharge your body and mind at Linaw!
