"Insgesamt ein gutes Hotel, mit Dachterrasse, Pool, Bar und kleinem Fitnessraum. Sauberes Zimmer bei Ankunft. Das Frühstück könnte etwas mehr Auswahl haben, aber dennoch alles da was man braucht. Gut gelegen um ins Zentrum zu gelangen. Das Hotel selbst hat nur 6 Parkplätze, diese also rechtzeitig reservieren. Alternativ kann man gut im Santa Lucia Parkhaus parken für aktuell 5,50€ am Tag, die Empfehlung kam von Tania an der Rezeption."

"Loved staying at the Barcelo Funchal in Oldtown! It is a beautiful hotel with so many amenities that includes a rooftop pool and lounge area. The staff were extremely helpful and gracious. Also in the heart of town so makes everything easily walkable. Thank you!"

"A very good hotel with an excellent breakfast and great amenities. The room we stayed in—located on the floor 0 felt a bit dated; upon entering, there was a noticeable stale odor. In the evenings, there is wonderful live music in the bar and a very pleasant atmosphere. It is an adults-only hotel, though I would say its 55+. I recommend it for a peaceful, relaxing getaway!"

"We wanted to make our anniversary special, so we chose this hotel for its location, pools and mention of a restaurant. Everything was prepared beautifully. I truly wish I remembered the names of the staff or had written them down. There was an older gentleman and a woman with braces in the restaurant that were so incredibly attentive and kind. There was a woman with glasses and a gentleman with facial hair at the front desk that were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They made this location...
