"Three nights in Double Deluxe in Building 2 ground floor. Clean, comfortable bed,good amenities, no insects or reptiles, fast reliable WiFi. Quiet at night. This is an intensely built up area with access thru a narrow residential lane. I felt like part of the neighborhood which was pleasant. On check in day, Staff sent a 1 minute YouTube video via WhatsApp showing how to get to the unit from the ferry docks. Ten minutes walk on level ground right by the famous temple. "The hotel and the staff were 10/10. The hotel is located in a strange area - basically a shopping mall - and there was not easy access to food when we got in late. (We flew in during a T8 typhoon so that impacted local food delivery as well.) If you are coming from the airport late in the evening, bring food with you or eat before you show up. "Lovely beach hotel that is quiet. It is pretty easy to get to central Hong Kong if you can manage ferry schedules. Swam every day, loved the lack of cars on the island. I wish breakfast started before 9 but may as well exercise early like the locals anyway. Highly recommended. "
