It was personalised to every detail, from the moment we entered as we got to chose our welcome drink to the luggage delivery service with extra attention in the end. The location was precious, very historical and quite private, while the amenities were unexpectedly very modern. "Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral. Sie ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Sogar mit einer Nespresso Maschine und Kaffekapseln. Auch die Waschmaschine mit Trockner war sehr hilfreich. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön im japanischen Stil eingerichtet. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. "

"The staff, service and food were exceptional. The location was perfect for what we wanted out of a four night stay in Kyoto. But, it was the staff that made the experience memorable. Some of the key spots are just around the corner from the hotel. Given the crowds during the day, it was easy to see them early in the morning or after dinner when the crowds were much smaller. If you are looking for the perfect atmosphere from a traditional small Japanese Ryoken then look no further!"
