"It is a historic place. Everyone in Syracusa knows this hotel. There is wonderful breakfast. Rooms are unique and beautiful. We had two rooms that connected with a hallway. Loved the grand staircase. Easy to walk everywhere in Ortigia. "

"Beautiful hotel right on the waterfront with parking (paid) just in front. Excellent service and breakfasts. Room elegant with high ceilings but would benefit from air conditioning for the summer months. Easy walking to seafront and around Ortigia. "

"Really charming, old property, tastefully furnished, lovely, polite and helpful staff. Very good breakfast and good and reliable ideas for eating out. The only negative was the very expensive valet car parking at €30 per night."

"This hotel was the best place. Emanuella sent me google map and tell me to go to the parking lot. etc. She really nice and professional Very clean, nice gifts, premium sheet. Too many good things…"

"My husband & I stayed 2 nights in mid-May 2025. We loved this historic and fascinating B&B within a current convent (yes, we saw the nuns!). Comfortable 2nd floor room that opened onto a quiet, shared, shaded terrace. There’s also a ln upper terrace with seattle & sea views. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Note: wifi was very unreliable. We parked our rental car at the Talete garage about 10 minutes walk, for €15 per 24 hrs. Overall, this was a great location for us in Ortigia."

"Staying here with my Grandmother was great. The staff were very nice and polite, they were quick with responses online and very helpful. Very lovely and welcoming people and atmosphere. It was tidy and looked beautiful on the inside, lots of decoration. It is near a lot of dining options, shops, and is a walkable distance from popular attractions. "Unique room with a skylight and terrace. Located right near the water. We also parked in the paid lot right there- not cheap but worth it for the proximity to the hotel. Breakfast was delicious- I awoke to the smell of fresh baked goods. The highlight was the innkeeper- a friendly, funny gentleman and I enjoyed our conversations. "
