"This is an incredible hotel, with perhaps the best location in Lake Como. Giulia was very kind and helpful upon check-in. And the best was to come - the location and the view (if you get a lake viewing room) are unbeatable! Varenna is perhaps the best town on Como, and you are steps from the Lido (small beach), beautiful walks, and the walk up to Castello di Vezio. "Super clean and comfortable. Not fancy, but nice. Great and friendly service. Good breakfast. Nice pool area. It is a good 12 to 15 minute walk to town, uphill on the way back, but doable. Nice and quite hillside. Great for relaxing with a drink by the pool after exploring other areas of lake como! "

"Beautiful hotel in a stunning location. Reception staff were friendly and rooms were clean & modern. Breakfast was served at the sister hotel Victoria, which was a nice short walk. We chose to eat in the restaurant one night due to it's vista, the food was great but the service was average (slow & mixed up the orders) which was a surprise. "

"liked nearly everything though took one star off for only having one very small, slow lift. I do realize though it isn't easy to install modern larger lifts in a historic building I also took 1 star off for a lack of sunshades in the pool area - there wasn't very much shade from trees and with temperatures up to the mid thirties there were only 2 sunshades!"

"Daniel was just amazing and the property has been very thoughtfully managed. Pool is immaculate. Location is just excellent and central to Bellagio. Only point of feedback would be the mattress in the bed being a little more comfortable. We will be back!"
