"We felt like we had stepped back in time to the era of grand Victorian hotels. I literally gasped we walked in. The rooms were spacious and extavangantly decorated; we even had turn down service. The dining room was beautiful. We had afternoon tea and felt like grand ladies. The staff were so sweet and understanding of our Amercan questions. The bar was hopping and we loved exploring the cocktails."

"The hotel looks amazing and the communal areas are beautiful. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and all the food we had at the hotel was wonderful. However we were disappointed with the room. Supposedly a Deluxe room, there was very little luxury. Bare minimum of toiletries and tea and coffee. No homely or luxurious touches. No where to hang wet towels etc. Think less first class cabin and more boiler room grunge. To be frank we could have been in a Premier Inn. The hotel is situated...

"This hotel is generally fine, but big. Expensive. Impersonal. The hotel treats its guests differently. There was a group of tourist allowed to eat continental breakfast at 7.00 am on Saturday, we were sent away to come back at 7.30, which was too late for us for the flight home. Different rules for different guests."
