"A hotel that clearly prioritizes style over substance. It may seem like the issues are minor, but attention to detail really matters—and that’s where this place falls short. Thick layers of dust were noticeable, and finding ants in the shower room during the night was particularly off-putting."

"We stayed in this beautiful hotel as a party of three in two separate rooms. When we arrived we were greeted by a polite and professional young man at the reception. Our rooms were spotless and tastefully furnished. Free bottled water ,coffee and tea sachets were provided. The bed was super comfy and I slept really well. Each room has its own air conditioning system so the temperature can be adjusted to suit ones needs. There is ample space to store luggage etc. I sampled their breakfast which was a buffet. There were food choices to suit everyone . Cold meats ,bread ,pastries and hot foods:sausages ,beans ,eggs etc. Plenty of coffee and juices . Yoghurt's ,fruits - everything one could ask for . A little gluten free station was provided too. I do not drink but the bar area looked well stocked and inviting. I did have a coffee at the bar though and it was very nice and served with a smile. Staff were great ,very helpful and very polite . The young man who greeted us initially was so lovely - I am sorry ,I forgot his name . Amelia was another reception staff who was lovely and helpful too. Katarzyna made sure our rooms were spotless- thank you. We had a fantastic time at this hotel and I am planning to return at some point. "

"Hotel Wawel is an excellent place to stay right in the heart of Krakow old town. There are many excellent restaurants within a stone’s throw. The staff are really helpful, and arranged us taxis to and from the airport and out to the Auschwitz museum. We had two lovely spacious rooms, super clean and comfortable, with modern bathrooms. Breakfast is a buffet with a wide choice of hot and cold options, and you eat it in the attached Black Duck restaurant, which is also a great choice for dinner- good food and reasonable prices. There’s even a comfortable lounge with a self service coffee machine available 24 hours. Would definitely stay again! "
