"We very much enjoyed everything about our stay at Hotel de Ricci. Everything was pristine, rooms were beautiful, well stocked with amenities, amazing and kind staff, and yummy breakfast. We especially appreciated how patient and helpful the staff were with our tired 3 year old who had a couple of meltdowns. Your kindness was very appreciated. "

"Passepartout is not a place to stay for older people. The elevator stops between floors (it's an old building), so some stairs are necessary. There are no grab bars in the bathroom. The staff are excellent, and the neighborhood is great, with good restaurants nearby. Reception hours are limited to 8:45 AM to 7:00 PM. It is more a guest house than a hotel."

"Lovely charming secured apartment in an impeccable condition. Ample amounts of space and easy access to nearby metro stations. Only thing to say was ventilation in the bathroom could be better, and shower was quite small for an average adult. We also experienced some issues with the hotwater (boiler was turned off temporarily(?)), but quickly resolved. Blackout blinds were wonderful, and appreciate host accomodating us to store luggage with them at the apartment before check in. "

"The room was a nice size and very clean. It was a different experience but we loved the square and market right outside. The first day and night was a little rough because we were exhausted and we had a hard time resting because of chairs moving around constantly on top of us. Also I room was right next to the reception so that was a little loud , too. But, with our phone fan app we were able to at least drown out the reception noise. The second night was much quieter!! "This was one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I’ve had. I arrived to check in after 4pm, only to find the doors locked. Apparently, the front desk is only open from 8am–4pm, which is completely unreasonable for a hotel and, more importantly, not clearly stated anywhere in the booking description. There was no warning that arriving later would leave you locked out. To make things worse, the property is nearly impossible to find at night. There is no proper signage, just a small, unlit...

"Location was brilliant for exploring the historic sites of Rome. As well as being close to some great cafes, restaurants and bars in nearby area and Trastevere as a short walk. Room was clean, equipped with what was needed and spacious. Slight negatives were low pressure on shower, stairs to lift which was not an issue for us, and a bit of noise at night but could be expected in a city. Additional positives were the helpful and kind staff and fresh croissants to go with the provided coffee...

The only complaints are the shower floor is VERY slippery, the elevator is very dark/small, and the breakfast is almost identical every day (some variety would be nice) although the food is good."
