"Shower was poor"

"Run down hotel. Cracked walls. Unrefreshend smell to the room. Not worth 1/4 of the $$$ I paid. Getting out of the bathtub was a fall hazard. Shower pressure was low...on the ground floor I wonder what its like on the top floor. Very unpolite and discriminatory frontend staff. Had paid for a quadruple room but was given a lower occupancy room. The only positive thing was the comfy bed and having a roof over one's head."

"Quick visit to Manchester, was made very comfortable by this hotel. The room was large, very clean and had a great view of the city. Breakfast was good, lots of choice and speciality items on request."

"Make sure you ask for a room upstairs and not the basement - the rooms down there are musty, the windows only kind of open, and they're just awkward all around. Beds are nice and comfortable though. Also, it's loud outside late into the night - though you are right in the middle of the bars, etc., so it's not unexpected."

We knew there was limited parking on site but could only find out that it was full once stood at reception (which I was whilst partner waited with engine running on side road).
