"This was our 2nd stay when visiting Portsmouth for gigs. The hotel team are always very freindly and helpful. The breakfast is always good with good selection of fruits and juices to compliment ( if you actually have room). Free parking on a 1st come basis. All in all a great place to stay when in Pompey!"

"We only stayed for one night but had a really lovely evening! The staff were very friendly, the pub/hotel have been recently refurbished and it's great. The rooms have everything you'd need, comfy bed, great shower, lovely lighting, loads of plugs! The bar and food was great. Overall really lovely and we'll stay again as we're often down to visit family."

"The rooms were large and clean. Only body wash and shampoo in the bathroom. No hair conditioner. No real cupboard, just a few hangers in a sort of cupboard. There was an iron and an ironing board. Breakfast was okay for us, we don't eat all the food there was served (buffet breakfast). They had snacks so we had a pizza.
The receptionists were excellent, so helpful. Also the waiters in the dining room were very helpful.
It's a good place for one night before a flight or a cruise."

"Beautiful historic mansion. We walked thru nearby parks to the riverfront for lunch. The outdoor restaurant at Orange Grove was very pleasant for an evening dinner and happy hour. The admiral lounge is very comfortable while waiting for pickup to go to the airport or cruise ships."
