"I didn't like that the weekend cleaning staff weren't very thorough. In room dining menu was scarce of meat dishes, but the food was delicious anyway. There was also a Sundays and public holidays surcharge on room service.
However the room itself, was fantastic! The view was nice, the room and furniture were neat, tidy and clean. An in-room coffee pod machine with complementary pods and bottled water. The bed was extremely comfortable and luxurious. The staff were great and very helpful....

Had brunch at the lobby bar but they never placed my order. Finally one attendant sorted it all out when he found out, and in the end didn’t charge me for the meal. Kind of a downer because there’s a lot of spots that people can dine at so more attention needed for training here and having staff that care because your houseguests give you priority over the neighboring eateries.

"It’s a lovely find. Was unwell so couldn’t swim in the beautiful long pool! Would come back. Didn’t really like the shower - we were in a wheel chair friendly room - too much water in slippery shower floor! A bit dangerous guys! "
"Spacious room and even the bathroom is huge. It was clean and the lobby area was clean. Bed was comfy. The hotel was within walking destination to CBD area. Definitely recommended. "

"This hotel is a real vibe - from the rooftop pool, to the Friday afternoon happy hour at the rooftop bar. The location is primo - right behind Howard Smith Wharves where there are plenty of dining and drinking options. Also close to Fortitude Valley and CBD - both in walking distance.
The only thing I didn’t like was not enough lighting in the bathroom for makeup application. It’s very annoying when bathrooms are designed for form over function."

"We were greeted by on-going renovation in the lobby during our stay in mid-Nov 2024. Nothing was mentioned in the websites.
Room was an odd shape layout; maybe due to the building structure. Hence, the room wasn't as spacious as I had expected of a 41m sq room.
Clean room. Slight stain in the bathroom. Housekeeping every 3 days."
"The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The hotel in general was very boutique with some lovely old features, such as the lift. The situation on the hotel is very convenient for walking into the centre. My only comment would be the breakfast could be improved."
