"Lovely inn on a quiet street just outside the walls of Carcassone. Bit of a steep walk up to the village itself but totally manageable. Comfortable room, nice bathroom, helpful staff, wonderful breakfast. Several restaurants within a few meters walk of the hotel. There is access to a small roof terrace which has an amazing view of Carcassone. Very happy with our stay. "

"We are returning guests. Maison Mignardise is a rare gem, that we can recommend to anyone. The property itself is beautiful and clean, and well located just a few minutes' walk from the medieval city, where there are many good restaurants. "We arrived very early and they gladly let us check in. Property is at the base of the castle and a very short walk. The staff was wonderful and very helpfull. The landscaping/gardens are beautiful. This is a great property and you won’t be disappointed "

"I liked: The location, just before the bridge to the Forteresse, and with a nice overall view of the Forteresse from my balcony. A large very nice room. The balcony with nice vegetation. A really full buffet breakfast (North American style but with great croissants, etc) Staff that were nice and helpfull. I walked everywhere, from and to train station, to restaurants, to the Forteresse."

"A beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. The only downside was we couldn’t get a lunchtime cocktail because the bartender didn’t start until 6 (it was a weekend) which was the only fault we could find! Great stay - Merci! "

"Location for the medieval cité is excellent (about a 7-10 mins walk). Communication from the apartment management was also excellent which meant our checking in and out was easy. The apartment is a bit tired, however the kitchen and bathroom were both clean. Other surfaces and inside the drawers in ours were dirty but we'd taken some cleaning products with us so it wasn't a big deal. Overall would still recommend and would stay here again."

"Such an excellent location, right under the medieval cité but away from the business. There are plenty of lovely places to have dinner a short walk away, and it is also a very short walk over the bridge and into La Bastide for cafes and shops around Place Carnot. The swimming pool is quiet and was very welcome in such hot weather! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful."
