"The room had cockroaches live present in the bathroom and there was hair and dirt in the sheets on the bed. The owner assured us she was going to issue a refund and apologized for the condition of the room. After 2 weeks and several text strings I find myself writing this review and wishing I had checked the Google reviews as well before having to escalate the dispute to my credit card company. Seems there are several such stories to be found when one starts searching"

"The Rose Cottage was so spacious and quiet and Robin was very friendly and accommodating with requests. She helped with dinner recommendations and shops around town. I would love to come back here again!"

"As outside temperature was in the 98 to 105 degrees. Way too hot for the miss’s and I. There is a fishing pond and a paddle boat you can use if you wish. Breakfast was great and the owner Perry was very polite and had done well with the place. Great place to relax. Except for the hot weather everything was very good."
