"Single night stop over. Room was large and spacious . Bathroom very large. Room was clean and beds very comfortable. Did not go to casino or use amenities. But was perfect and easy to find. Price fantastic. Will go there again and hope to spend more than one night."

It would have been helpful to have a welcome guide or itinerary in the room with details about local attractions, transportation options, restaurants, and other useful information for guests. "The room was run down and in need of repairs. There was a foul odor in the toilet. The towel bar in the shower was missing. The walls in the shower were caked with accumulated soap film and were unclean. In the lavatory area, there was a portion of the wall where something had been attached (probably a hand soap dispenser) to the wall but was torn off leaving broken hole in the drywall. The wall switch light by the door was too dim, around a 40-watt light. Three of the other lamps didn't even have bulbs in the sockets. And I asked for a wake-up call that never came."

"The staff is amazing, warm, friendly, and very approachable. My experience with the hotel was breathtaking. I was impressed with the character, charm, and the deco of the hotel; as well as the history of the building. You will want to take the bed home with you. I was only there for one night and plan to return soon and thinking about having my 70th birthday celebration there. I told the staff that their hotel was a hidden gem. Me not being from the Shreveport area. Kudos to the Remington Suite.❤️"
