"I thought the property was very nice inside with the use of traditional Japanese styles of the tatami rooms and comfortable beds as well as the sliding rice paper doors. It had a great shower room, which could be used like a Onsen with a deep soaking tub and short stool with bucket. But even with these traditional styles, you could’ve easily taken a standup shower. "Avoid this property at all costs! It was a nightmare, owner couldn’t be contacted for hours (tried to call him and no one picked up the phone) and only after we got a hold of him, he informed us that the place was double booked. We were travelling with 2 young kids and waited nearly 2 hours in front of this property. It was 9 pm and we had to scramble to find a place to stay. "Great gym—very clean and well maintained. The staff truly reflects Japanese hospitality: polite, attentive, and professional. The service throughout the hotel was excellent. Breakfast was okay, but not outstanding. There could be more variety and better quality. The bar has a beautiful view, but I was disappointed that hotel guests are charged an additional fee to enjoy to sit where the view is. Considering the room rates, this should be included for guests."

"The Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba is a great hotel! Te rooms are clean, elegant, and very large compared to other hotels in Japan. The hotel is next to a train station and within walking distance to two malls, so you will be close to restaurants and shopping. Great for families. To get to the major attractions of Tokyo, you will need to take a train or taxi. They have two pools, which is great in the summer, but you need to pay extra for the rooftop pool."
