The negative points come mostly from the cleanliness of the place and how it was addressed , we are used to removing shoes in our own home as well as the ones we stay in and we realized how dirty the floors were, thankfully there was a broom and mop to use which turned out to be pretty dirty. In one of the bedrooms once we pulled back the sheet there was hair on the bed and the end table had hair and dust as if the sheets weren’t changed and nothing dusted. With that, I contacted the host and they apologized and was told they could have a cleaner take care of that, the host requested a good time for the next day and I told him 11am is when we would be gone. We were scheduled there for 2 nights and they were willing to fix this which is good but we don’t stay gone all day and enjoy spending time at the place we rent. By mid day I was already considering getting a different place for us to feel comfortable in and I did express that to the host. While we were gone, I was updated via email that the cleaners would be there no later than 6, then that changed to running late. By then I decided to look for a different place. At 7:10 I was told 10-20 minutes away and at 8:13 I was told cleaning was done. As requested they were given an opportunity to fix the issue but that late at night is just not right in my opinion. I understand the cleaners schedule is out of their control but it’s also not our fault that the place was dirty, somehow the cleaning could’ve need done earlier.
