"We have just enjoyed a lovely 5 night stay in a room with a side sea view balcony looking down to the pier. The hotel facilities were very good and the staff exceptional and so attentive to customers needs. "The staff here were all friendly and welcoming. Just had the one night but enjoyed it. The rooms are well appointed and large. Lovely sea breeze through the windows. Only negative is that the carpet needs some replacement."

"This was a fun place to stay while visiting the battle field. The village was very interesting with many small shops. The room appeared to be recently renovated and staying above a pub was a fun experience. The pub itself was also excellent. Our only complaint was lack of air conditioning...which resulted in us opening a window...and listening to traffic (the road out front is very busy) All-in-all, I would strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area"
