The pictures don't do the grounds justice - beautiful, flowery and lovely scenery with nice walks and things to do. Breakfast had great choice and service.

Had a lovely stay at Powdermills. This is a real hidden gem - beautiful grounds, comfortable room, friendly attentive staff, lovely food etc Decor a bit dated and tired, but understand due for a refresh soon.

Comfortable hotel

A very pleasant old-fashioned hotel with nice restaurant and public rooms and a spacious and comfortable bedroom (we had a disabled room). Breakfast excellent. Dinner good though somewhat expensive.
