"Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, I was assigned a smoking room, even though I am not a smoker. The smell of smoke was overwhelming and completely unbearable. We immediately requested a room change, but our request was denied without any attempt to resolve the situation. At around three a.m., unable to sleep due to the strong odor, I went to the reception desk. Only then was I offered another room, but not before the receptionist argued with me, stating that I should not be complaining at that hour. What makes this even more unacceptable is that this second room could have been provided earlier, when we first complained, avoiding all the discomfort. The room floor was extremely dirty, clearly not properly cleaned, which raised serious concerns about hygiene and overall cleanliness. Breakfast was by far the worst I have ever had in a hotel. The scrambled eggs tasted old, as if they were from the previous day, and the food quality was very poor, with very limited variety. Honestly, among all the hotels I have stayed in during my travels, this was the worst experience of my life. I strongly do not recommend this hotel to anyone."

"Wonderful location, staff and room. I travel often and would stay again. Beautiful, charming older building with character. Only one hiccup (the staff loved their heating). I walked in and it was about 85F. The towel warmer was broken and heated the entire room. Slept with window open so all good. They tried to fix it however I only stayed 2 nights. This didn't hurt my review because staff was so nice to help. Again great location and room."
