Northern Lower Peninsula Hotels with parking

"Hotel overall was good. The positive- I appreciated a comfortable bed with nice bedding. Rooms were clean. I liked that toiletries were available. My daughter enjoyed the pool. The price was less than most other hotels in the area. Ample parking. Staff polite. The negative- below average food choices for breakfast, nothing hot and it was bare minimum at 8am. The very strong smell of air fresheners (lobby) upon arrival was nauseating. Rooms were very small and so noisy (the people above us and next to us woke me up both mornings by 6am). The property to the west is run down/vacant and this was the view out of our window, so we couldn’t have the curtain open. The property to the west also run down (Economy In ) appears to be weekly renters. My 10 year old noticed the tenants were always outside smoking. Hair drier did not work well. "

"Nice location on the beach. Nehemiah at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast options were many and staff was very good at keeping it stocked. Good location for getting around the peninsula. Lots of dining options nearby, at all price points. We had a 3rd floor Petite King room facing the beach. Bed was comfortable but be aware that the room in this category is very small."

"Hotel is very clean with few minor issues like some cracked tiles in the room entrance way. The noise level in the morning(as early as 5:30am) from vacuuming, slamming doors to noisy guests (or staff) is pretty bad. Other than that, a very clean hotel with a nice view of Lake Huron"

"Was loaded w soccer kids screaming and running around. Not relaxing at all. Had I known I would have opted out. For 300 some dollars hoped for more. But not the facilities fault. Kids suck."

"The breakfast buffet was great but get there early. Everything was very fresh and staff was very nice. The only two things I could say negative about the stay is the bed was on the hard side and the in room coffee machine didn't work correctly."

"Room above us was leaking into our bathroom middle of the night. Had to be moved and down graded, as there were no rooms left that matched what we had. Was not given a refund. Otherwise nice property, polite staff, decent breakfast included. "
