"My wife and I loved our stay here. Other than it being a bit outdated, and some uncleaned areas (hair on walls, ceilings, and trash under bed, etc.) and maintenance issues, we will love to come back and keep this place in our rotation."

"I felt bad for the front office staff that had to deal with all the angry customers because the cleaning staff was not quick I did early check in at 3:00 and still did not get a room until 8:00 p.m. and this was happening with many others our rooms were not clean any in the five days that we stayed there we had to go by your own room and dustpan to clean up some the game room nothing worked and they will charge half a day if you want to check in early early but yet they would do nothing about not being able to check in at their 4:00 check-in time my room is 4 hours late and they did not offer any kind of half day rate or anything to compensate as if they would have charged if I would have been too early this property has gone completely downhill it has always been my favorite to stay at when I go to Florida however I would be willing to pay a different place for different kind of service and know the channels do not all work on the TV"

"Would have given it a two, but the location is superb. Dirty and in disrepair, as soon as we opened the door to our room the smell of urine blasted us in the face. The bathroom was filthy…blood spattered on the tub and a dirty, wobbly toilet. The beds were hard and sheets were pilling…recommend that you bring your own bedding. We had a small kitchenette and the refrigerator leaked. It could be a nice little gem on the sea. Cleaning and making minor repairs would make a huge difference. In the end, it was a place to sleep. The balcony view of that crystal blue ocean and the easy walk to the beach made everything else bearable. "

"Could’ve had a complementary breakfast of some sort but it was a beautiful place. It had a wonderful view. A wonderful pool always had clean towels delivered was for sure. A five star experience for me and my family."

"We loved our stay at the Island Resort! The pools and grounds are beautifully kept and are very fun for the guests. Its walkable by beach or parking lot to several restaurants and stores. We will be back!"

"This "resort" was no resort. The room we booked was barely big enough for the bed, let alone walking around it. The bathroom was tiny. The TV didn't work. We spent one night because it was a very late arrival. The next morning, there was nowhere to get breakfast at the "resort" and we didn't have a vehicle. We requested a refund for the other 4 nights we had booked, and they apparently gave it to us. I have a receipt for the refund, but I have not received it to our bank account. I do NOT recommend this "resort". We moved to a Best Western Plus which was excellent, although not on the beach,"
