"This hotel is such a gem in Chiang Mai! The rooms are cozy and comfortable, but the best part of our stay was definitely the breakfast made by Maew Kalaya. She puts so much love into her cooking, and every dish was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were kind, helpful, and always made us feel at home. Plus, the location is perfect — right in the Old City, close to everything. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!"

"This hotel was beyond our expectations. From the welcome every time we stepped into the property to the moment we left, the staff was very hospitable and friendly. The room was spotless and had all the amenities. The terrace room has a private hot tub that is on the entire day and cleaned periodically. The renovation is very luxurious for the room. "Aksara Heritage is a phenomenal boutique hotel in Chiang Mai. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful and made us feel extremely safe and comfortable. Within an hour of arriving they had a massage and mani pedi booked for us and a tour arranged for next day. The grounds are well kept and the surrounding area is very walkable with tons of food and shopping options. Dao and Ming were both instrumental to our stay in Chiang Mai! Would definitely recommend. "Excellent location within walking distance to attractions, massage places, Sunday night market and eating places. Room came with urinal (a first at any hotels we have stayed). However, the design of the bathtub and shower head is not good. Water splashes to the sides and accumulate on the ledge around the tub. Could do away with the urinal and have the space do up for standing shower. Getting in and out of the slippery tub can be difficult for short people. Hot water at times take a long time...

"The staff is extremely kind, friendly and helpful. They truly made staying here memorable! The condition of the property was good, not great because the bathroom exhaust fan kept blowing out greyish black debris, the mounted indoor AC system would occasionally drip water-(perhaps condensation) on the floor and the hand towel rack was barely handing on. The common areas were well kept and clean. Beautiful scenery out back."
