"It is in a great location but as others have said, it’s a mildly spiffed up old motel; the walls are very thin and the floor reverberates a lot. Even with quiet neighbors on the top floor there was a good amount of thumping noise from people moving around normally. "We have stayed here many times over the years and have always appreciated how well maintained the property is. We stayed for four nights and had a great time enjoying the Tahoe area. Our only disappointments were that the air conditioning in one of the three bedrooms did not work, and the cable TV was out for our entire stay. While we certainly didn’t come to Tahoe to watch TV, when staying at a quality resort, it’s reasonable to expect that these amenities are functioning. The televisions were...

"The carpet in the room was torn and dirty. Bath sink wouldn’t drain and towel rack fell off wall. There was an iron no ironing board hanging on hanger the information binder had important pages missing Very unhappy after paying so much for the room. Will not return"

"We stayed in cabin 32 which was unfortunate as we were directly next to the street. It was loud with all the cars we didn’t get to sleep in past 630 am. Rooms need some updates such as the carpet it was horribly stained but everything in the kitchenette worked fine. Also, the lake was beautiful and I liked that they had plenty of chairs and towels."
