"The egg smelling water is terrible. But the ice machine must have had a filter because it was ok. We went to the store and bought drinking water. There is a broken hand rail on the stairs leading into the hotel which could be hazardous if you didn't notice it. Bring your own bath towels, they are thin and small. If you have a river view it is nice. Nice mini frig that was cold and a nice microwave. Decent value for what you get."

"The outside of the property is very deceiving as you drive up to it. However, once you walk in, the upgrades are very pretty and unique. The one thing that was surprising was lack of a parking lot. If you couldnt find street parking out front, I believe the only available parking is a parking ramp about a block away - which is not ideal. "We asked for a disabled room and we’re given one full-size bed for two people. We were switched to another room with two beds however, the toilet would not flush. The breakfast was very minimal and there were loud partiers outside of our window at 2 AM one of the worst stays we’ve ever had in a hotel. "

"Parking felt safe, the staff at the front desk was always very nice and helpful, inly complaint was we stayed 9 days and not one time did room service come to change out sheets on the bed and had to actually ask one of the room service ladies for a couple of new towels."

"The Glen Club is always my go to hotel when staying near Chicago. I love its more private location because it feels like a quiet retreat away from the city. Every time we have stayed there it has been peaceful, cozy, and incredibly comfortable. With only 21 rooms, the boutique atmosphere makes it feel even more exclusive and relaxing. The hotel is consistently spotless, beautifully updated, and very well maintained, and the onsite restaurant is excellent. The only things I would love to see...
