It looked like there was new carpet throughout the building and recently updated somewhat. Nothing fancy but clean and comfortable for a one night stay and good price point. "We arrived early in the day from our flight and the reception and housekeeping team were more than accommodating and worked to get a room ready for check in well before check in time! The room was clean and modern. The staff was friendly and helpful. It’s conveniently right next to a Starbucks. We walked downtown every day for lunch or dinner. Would stay again!"

"This is a great property. It is very clean and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. If you don't know how to play a board game in the casino the dealers are there to make sure you know the rules and more than willing to help you in your betting. You can't go wrong with a stay at the MardiGras Casino and Hotel."

"We chose this hotel because it had 2 treadmills. We arrived and 1 was broken. No one knew why or any idea when it would be fixed. More importantly no one cared. Had to spend extra money at planet fitness. Nobody cared."

"Looked ok by the photos but upon arriving, the location of this hotel was super sketchy, homeless people everywhere outside and did not feel safe for my family to stay at. Luckily Expedia was kind enough to help us cancel our reservation here and stay somewhere else!"

"We stayed because we needed enough room for 5, that was good. The building is old and alittle run down. First the door wouldn't open, we finally got it to open. We closed the door and needed something else from the car and the door wouldn't open. After several tries we finally got it open. The attendant had to come and take part of the threshold off the bottom of the door,so we could get in and out. I wouldn't stay there again."
