"So close to the Grand Canyon!!! Friendly and diverse staff. Elk everywhere. Lodge had great and reasonable priced foods, better than in town. Only cons- no microwave in room, carpet or ac made the room smell like musty old hotel smell in our room. We were able to open the window and turn on fan to air out. Also, the switches for lights were hard to find. The room gets super dark night which was great. Thankfully very minimal crowds when we were there, so check in and parking was easy and fast! "

The only issue that we had was that there are 4 EV charging stations, and when we came back for the night and wanted to charge our car, there were 2 vehicles parked in EV parking that were not electric vehicles. "We had a great stay at the Tavern. One of the reasons we booked was because of the breakfast at la Crema. We were a little dissappointed that our Easter breakfast basket did not have any pastries from la crema. The staff was great as well as we left something behind and appreciated that they found the item and left it at the front desk. We actually like staying at the Tavern rather than Sedona-the shops are quaint and the restaurants are much better than Sedona!"
