Sedona has some of the best hiking and views you can find in all of the Southwest USA. But my favorite parts of Sedona are the little known secret places, that you can explore and experience without the crowds. This gem is one of those secret locations. Sedona almost never gets snow, and when it does snow, it rarely sticks. So when a giant snow storm shut down the whole city last winter, we were dying to go out and get some epic snow pictures! Locals refer to this spot as the Birthing Cave. It is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy parts of the city. It is a fairly easy hike to get here, but getting up into the cave is a whole other story! It requires a lot of scrambling, and some serious guts! Sunset at Airport Mesa is a must if in Sedona. I recommend hiking to the knoll below the mesa for a view with fewer people. The mesa is accessible by car and attracts large numbers of people. You have to hike to the knoll and far fewer people congregate here.

Clean rooms and great location . However be aware of the added hotel fees and costs when booking.. they add up . This is a Hyatt Club so will give you the timeshare pitch when check in. Check in is 4pm and checkout time is 10am . Overall a nice place to stay.
