"An amazing hotel with super friendly staff who make you feel very welcome and part of the family. Rooms are a good size with super comfortable beds ensuring you have a great nights sleep. Our shower struggled to get a continuous stream of hot water which was a surprise especially when the cold water came through! The breakfast on the top floor is fabulous with a great range of food and drinks. The views across Valletta are stunning. Whilst not advertised, you have to book a table for drinks in the evening with each slot lasting about an hour."

"The location is amazing - where Cospicua meets Birgu. Right by the ferry to Valletta. Lovely old house with a lovely breakfast served in the courtyard area"

"Hotel is clean , employee's are very friendly and great customer service. The only issue is the toilet not flashing well and their trash can in the bathroom. Otherwise everything is great."

"Great location to Birgu old town or 2 minutes walk to the ferry for Valletta. Quieter too. Would like more varieties of toiletries but for the price I am being picky. Really comfy bed and quiet."

"Fabulous stay at the charming and charismatic Casa Birmula which is so full of period character. The room and bathroom were clean with good amenities overlooking the alley - lovely to sit on the balcony and listen to the bells or the birds. The location is great too explore the quaint streets of Birgu or close to the Valletta Ferry to wander the bustling streets of Valletta. Maureen and Arz are very welcoming and there is lots of choice at breakfast, please try the omelette. We loved our stay and hope to return again soon - Ron and Sally"

"Overall average stay. Problems included: no microwave, really warm room at some points with no solution as AC system couldn't be controlled by the staff (?), hot water got cut off multiple times in the room so couldn't shower, no locks on bathroom door, lack of hangers and hooks, and a bad toilet flush. Breakfast was decent, not too much variety and quite repetitive, but catering staff were very nice - they cooked vegetarian options if you asked. Room cleaning staff were also nice. Hotel staff in the reception weren't though."
