We were a party of 3 friends: the staff immediately changed the bed from a double to 2 singles before we had even unpacked. Breakfast was so civilised, prepared fresh to order with great coffee served as requested. Pool area is great. One of our party was brave enough to take a swim. Perfect location in a nice quiet area of Valletta. No complaints whatsoever. Oh and filtered water supplied in the room daily "

"Big positive: Breakfast buffet in the Grana Restaurant. Loads to eat and drink. Full English or continental or both! Big negative: We went in February and the aircon was set to heat to 25°C (I keep my home at 18°C). I asked how I could turn it down and was told it's controlled centrally so not possible to control individual rooms, a decision which baffles me. Had the air con off the whole time, but it was warm, and we had an internal room so no air flow at all. I asked reception to provide a fan, but they said they didn't have any. Why on earth don't they let guests choose the temperatures in their own rooms?? "

"Great communication pre-stay! Fantastic staff throughout the hotel. Friendly and helpful 24 hour reception, wonderful greetings and always making sure everything was making your holiday pleasant. Every area was sparkling clean and the rooms were superb. The free morning breakfast buffet was a great way to start your day, fresh sliced fruits, local pastries, hot breakfast as well.
