"The property was clean and well maintained. The kitchen in our unit had modern appliances and was well appointed. We enjoyed dining at Passions and had a dinner on the beach. Also enjoyed a meal in the upstairs bar and grill enjoying the beautiful sunsets! The beach set-up was spacious with plenty of shade and attendants to assist. The staff, especially Patrick at the front desk, was friendly, service oriented, and informative.The location was ideal. Just a 2 block walk to a large grocery store and easy walks to shops and restaurants. We are already making plans to return to this hotel!"

"Room smelled like a waste line vent. They have to fix that. Staff wasn’t as friendly like last year. Might go back to the Hyatt worth the extra money. Also the room door you can hear everything from the room "

"We originally booked at Riu Palace Aruba – All Inclusive, but were moved to Barcelo Aruba due to renovations — with no price adjustment, despite a glaring downgrade in quality. We traveled as a large family with three separate rooms, and the issues were consistent across all of them. The rooms lacked essentials you'd expect at a 3-star hotel — no hair conditioner, no body lotion, and showers clearly not cleaned daily. Multiple requests to replenish the shower gel dispenser went ignored. Our children reported identical conditions and virtually nonexistent service in their rooms. My son's room phone didn't work. Despite acknowledging the issue and promising a replacement, it was never fixed. Paint was visibly peeling off hallway ceilings — clear signs of neglected upkeep that contradict the hotel's rating. Beach umbrellas were severely insufficient, forcing us to wake up at 4:30 AM to secure shade and chairs — an artificial problem not seen at neighboring hotels and easily fixable. The towel policy was equally frustrating: service was listed until 6 PM, yet staff refused to hand out towels after 5 PM, while the pool and beach remained open and in use. For an all-inclusive resort, the food quality, variety, and dietary options were disappointing and well below what the hotel's rating and price suggest. Overall, a deeply disappointing experience for a large amount of money — consistent across our entire family. "

"The hotel was great! Pools were clean, the buffets were always fresh and stalked. The staff is next level friendly and accommodating. The nightly drink specials in the lobby was a daily highlight! We loved it and would absolutely go again!"

"Beach tower room was great. Only down issue was soap dispensers were way to high up on wall in bathrooms. A5ft 6 person has tough time reaching pump that is about 5& 1/2 ft high on wall with 22” counter top to reach over. Do not like liquid soap dispenser in shower . Need bar soap. Still loved divi and all the great people that work there. Food is great will definitely be back to enjoying this great resort."

"All the staff seemed new they were nice but not very knowledgeable about rooms or free amenities that the hotel said they offered. Our room ac broke and had to change rooms in the middle of the night TWICE do to the issue only being temporarily resolved."
