"Our stay at this Hilton was very pleasant. All the hotel staffs that we had contacts with all speak English, until many hotels that we have stayed in Japan for the past two months. The hotel staffs were also very friendly and helpful. We were particularly impressed with one hotel staff name Winter, her name tag said she is the hotel’s Journey Ambassador. "From my suite and bathtub, I had a stunning mountain view. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The staff were cordial and polite. Although, I do wish the staff showed more Japanese culture customer service toward information and concierge services. Being at a Ritz Carlton Reserve hotel, I think the sophistication and quality of the onsen, gym, spa and in-house skiwear boutique weren't up to par. Those areas felt like I was at a Marriott hotel instead of a Ritz Carlton Reserve."

"Hotel is new, rooms are quite big, we had nice relaxing time in this hotel. Breakfast is also yummy. I recommend it without hesitation if you go through the area."

"The hotel is located in the middle of fields/forest. Don’t expect much of a town to go to for a walk. You’ll be spending most of the time in the hotel building. If you have dietary restrictions or preferences, it’s best to be very specific about what you can’t eat and write in Japanese if possible, to avoid misunderstandings. Overall the stay was ok but I found the interior design a bit on the darker side and not very cosy. It’s like instagram post come to life."
