"\the staff were universally helpful, especially at breakfast. the cleanliness was excellent. Breakfast was good. I did not find the restaurant for other meals suited my taste but that is an individual matter. There were not enough vegetables for my liking. My first room was hard for me to navigate but I was moved to a very satisfactory one.
The car park and the lift were selling points for me initially but I have become comfortable there, so will be back, barring accidents."

"The building is gorgeous, the room spacious and so comfortable, but the staff is the standout here. Cheerful, helpful, and so accommodating. They made the trip for us.
The breakfast is amazing - enough to carry you through lunch and beyond.
The hotel is a wee bit off the beaten track if you’re wishing to be on the Royal Mile every day, but the local bus service is excellent and you are in the midst of everything within 15-20 minutes.
Thank you for everything. It was a treat."

"My fiancé and I stayed here for the week leading up to our wedding, and we absolutely loved it. The biggest selling point of this hotel is its location. Being able to walk straight out onto Cockburn Street was incredibly convenient, and we were within walking distance of so many shops, restaurants, pubs, and bars. It made exploring Edinburgh's Old Town effortless, and we rarely needed to worry about transportation.
We didn't travel by car, but I could see parking potentially being an issue for...

"one of the best hotel room, i have ever stayed. the lobby is nice, the room is huge and even nicer. they refill the water, but towards the end of our stay, they no longer refill the snack.
otherwise the room is nice as per picture, bonus it is just 3 mins walk from the train station, so if your journey is late at night, this hotel is just close by to the train station and royal mile."
